NEW YORK — Stocks that moved substantially or traded heavily Tuesday on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Stock Market:

EMC Corp., down 21 cents at $17.85
A JPMorgan analyst downgraded the data-storage company, saying increasing competition could weigh on earnings growth.
Beazer Homes USA Inc., up 7 cents at $4.99
The homebuilder led stock declines in the housing sector after a report showed home prices dropped 0.5 percent in March.
USEC Inc., up $1.02 at $5.26
Nuclear power companies Toshiba Corp. and The Babcock & Wilcox Co. will invest $200 million in USEC’s uranium enrichment technology.
DiamondRock Hospitality Co., down 75 cents at $8.49
The hotel real estate investment trust will sell 20 million common shares and buy the Hilton Minneapolis for $155.5 million.
AutoZone Inc., up $10.32 at $194.57
The auto parts retailer said strong sales of replacement parts and new store openings boosted net income 17 percent in the third quarter.
AK Steel Holding Corp., up $1.54 at $15.06
An analyst upgraded shares and said investors should view the drop in metals producers’ stock values as a buying opportunity.

Neurocrine Biosciences Inc., up 67 cents at $3.40
The San Diego biotechnology company said its gynecological drug candidate passed a mid-stage clinical trial.
Genzyme Inc., up $2.68 at $51.16
The Food and Drug Administration approved the drugmaker’s treatment for a muscle development disease.
