GURGAON - Residents of Gurgaon can now pay their electricity bills online through the Internet, officials said Monday.

The facility has been made available through website www.dhbvn.com to about six lakh consumers of 18 urban sub-divisions in Faridabad, Gurgaon and Hisar, an official said.

For online payment, a consumer will have to go to the website and click on the link “online payment”. It will ask for unique ID code of the consumer “K number” given on the bill of each consumer.

“After filling the K number, detail of the consumer’s account will be displayed. The consumer shall login and choose the service number and mode of payment (credit card, debit card, internet banking), to pay for the outstanding dues, if any,” the official added.

Depending upon the choice of the bank, the website redirects them to the concerned bank website for completing the transaction.
