NTPC inks power purchase agreement with GRIDCO

NEW DELHI - State-run NTPC Limited Tuesday said it has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with GRIDCO Limited for sale of power from its various proposed projects in Orissa, West Bengal and Bihar.
“NTPC yesterday (Monday) signed a PPA with GRIDCO for sale of power from its proposed projects at Darlipali and Talcher Thermal Expansion in Orissa; Katwa in West Bengal, and Pirpainti and Muzaffarpur Stage II in Bihar to be commissioned during the 12th plan period,” NTPC said in a statement.
The project is to be commissioned in the current fiscal.
