BHUBANESWAR - India’s largest stainless steel maker JSL Ltd, formerly Jindal Stainless Ltd, signed an agreement with the Orissa government Wednesday to set up a stainless steel park in the state on an investment of Rs.704 crore.

The park would be set up adjacent to its 1.6 million tonne per annum integrated steel project coming up at Kalinga Nagar industrial complex in Jajpur district, a senior official of the state steel and mines department told IANS.

The deal was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Steel and Mines minister Raghunath Mohanty.

The project, to be built on 300 acres, will have 71 units, including a service centre.
