Miller Industries names Ashford to board of directors

Miller Industries names new board member

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Miller Industries Inc. said Wednesday that Theodore Ashford III was elected to the company’s board of directors.

Ashford, 46, is president and chief investment officer of Ashford Capital Management. He will take his position on April 1 and become Miller Industries’ sixth director.

Miller Industries manufactures towing and recovery equipment. Its shares rose 62 cents, or 5.3 percent, to $12.38 in afternoon trading.
