Briggs & Stratton declares 11-cent dividend

MILWAUKEE — Engine maker Briggs & Stratton Corp. declared a quarter dividend of 11 cents per share Wednesday.

The dividend will be payable Oct. 1 to shareholders of record at the close of business on Aug. 23.

Company shares fell 81 cents, or 4.5 percent, to $17.26, along with the broader market.
