Product Recalls: Mixed nuts, raw milk cheese

The following recalls have been announced:

— Cans of “Mixed Nuts Fancy, No Peanuts” distributed by Torn & Glasser of Rancho Dominguez, Calif., because they contain undeclared whole peanuts, which poses a risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction to people with peanut allergies. No illnesses have been reported. The recalled products are 3.75-pound cans marked with lot numbers 0980 and 1940 on the outer case label and bottom lid with UPC number 072488980761. The products were distributed in California, Washington and Hawaii. Contact: The manufacturer at 310-605-4900 Monday through Friday.

— Morningland Dairy of Mountain View, Mo., is recalling 68,957 pounds of raw milk cheese because it may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogene or Staphylococcus aureus. No illnesses have been reported. Nine varieties of Morningland Dairy raw cow milk cheese and seven varieties of Ozark Hill Farms raw goat milk cheese being recalled are packaged in vacuum-sealed plastic packages and sold nationwide.
