General Cable names McClure, Prevost to board

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. — General Cable Corp. said Tuesday it named Charles G. McClure Jr. and Patrick M. Prevost to the board of directors, expanding membership to seven directors.

They will serve on the board until they stand for election at the next annual meeting of stockholders in 2011.

McClure is the chairman, president and CEO of ArvinMeritor and Prevost is president and CEO of Cabot Corp.
