NEW DELHI - Kingfisher Airlines Friday said it would operate 22 additional flights this winter.

With the onset of the year-end peak travel season, we have introduced 22 additional flights in the 2010 Winter Schedule, said Manoj Chacko, executive vice president, commercial.

The company said four new flights out of the additional 22 are Varanasi-to-Khajuraho, Udaipur-to-Jaipur, Jaipur-to-Jodhpur and New Delhi-to-Agra flights.

Two additional flights have been introduced on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad route. An additional flight each has also been introduced on the New Delhi-Lucknow and Mumbai-New Delhi routes.

These new services will offer easy connectivity to popular winter destinations which feature prominently on the tourist circuit, Chacko said.

Currently, the airline flies to 56 cities in India and 8 international destinations, and has over 336 daily departures with a fleet of 66 aircraft.
