Obama promises to reform high-tech export laws

MUMBAI - Indicating the easing of high-tech exports to India, US President Barack Obama Saturday said the US will work to reform export laws.

“We will work to fundamentally reform export laws,” Obama said to high applause while addressing corporate honchos and entrepreneurs from both countries on the first day of his four-day visit to India.

The easing of high-tech exports to India is expected to be the highlight of the presidential visit.
