Wartsila looking at Rajasthan as energy hub

JAIPUR - Energy equipment and solutions major Wartsila India is looking at Rajasthan as a potential market and hub to meet the growing demand for electricity not only in the state but in other centres as well, a top official said Tuesday.

Rajasthan’s demand for uninterrupted power supply presents a great opportunity for growth,” company’s managing director Rakesh Sarin told reporters here during a press conference.

“The state is poised to be a prominent energy hub for India in the near future.”
