Ashok Leyland bags Rs.125 crore order

CHENNAI - India’s second largest commercial vehicle manufacturer Ashok Leyland Monday said it has bagged an order worth over Rs.125 crore from VRL Logistics to supply 600 vehicles.

Ashok Leyland will supply 500 units of multi axle vehicle and 100 numbers of 12 metre buses in a month’s time.

These will be inducted into VRL’s fleet consisting of 2,691 vehicles, 80 percent of which are made by Ashok Leyland.
