LONDON - A condom firm here is cashing on the popularity of the soon to be married couple, Prince William and Kate Middleton, by using their photo on its product pack.

The souvenir sheaths are being sold in royal purple packs of three with a picture of Prince William and his financee.

Blurb on the condom box urges users to “lie back and think of England” and promises “a better class of lovemaking”, The Sun reported Saturday.

“Like a Royal Wedding, intercourse with a loved one is an unforgettable occasion”, it further states.

Inside the box is a saucy guide to use the “Heritage Edition” condoms and a leaflet claiming: “England boasts some of the finest lovemaking in the world, with a tradition going back generations”.

Company spokesman Hugh Pomfret insisted they were the perfect souvenir for the April 29 wedding, when Prince William of Wales and Kate Middleton are scheduled to wed at Westminster Abbey this year.

He said: “We set our craftsmen to create these heirloom quality love sheaths. In years to come they’ll be a memento of a magical day.”

The royal commentators, however, have slammed Crown Jewels Condoms of Distinction as “tasteless”.

Majesty magazine editor Ingrid Seward said: “This is completely tasteless and really rather hurtful.

“Prince William has a great sense of humour but this is a step too far. This is a cheap swipe to make money.”

Buckingham Palace declined to comment, the report stated.
