The Reserve Bank of India has today released the data on External Commercial Borrowings (ECB) (www.rbi.org.in/scripts/ECBUserView.aspx?Id=89) and Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCB), both through Automatic Route and Approval Route, for the month of April 2011.
The Reserve Bank of India’s Reference Rate for the US dollar is ` 44.94 and the Reference Rate for Euro is ` 64.09 on June 24, 2011. The corresponding rates for the previous day (June 23, 2011) were ` 44.93 and ` 64.21 respectively. Based on the Reference Rate for US dollar and middle rates of the cross currency quotes at 12 noon, the exchange rates of GBP and Japanese Yen against the Rupee are:
