The Government of India have announced the sale (re-issue) of (i) “7.83 percent Government Stock 2018” for a notified amount of ` 3,000 crore (nominal), (ii) “7.80 percent Government Stock 2021” for a notified amount of ` 6,000 crore (nominal) and (iii) “8.28 percent Government Stock 2027” for a notified amount of ` 2,000 crore (nominal) through price based auctions. The auctions will be conducted using uniform price method. The auctions will be conducted by the Reserve Bank of India, Mumbai Office, Fort, Mumbai on August 26, 2011 (Friday).
The following seven State Governments have announced the sale of their 10-year State Development Loans (SDLs) for an aggregate amount of ` 5350.000 crore (face value) through yield based auction using multiple price auction method.

The Reserve Bank has been placing the main points of discussion of the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) on Monetary Policy meeting in public domain with a lag of roughly four weeks after its meeting. Accordingly, the minutes of the twenty-fourth meeting of the TAC held on April 27, 2011 were placed in public domain on May 30, 2011. The twenty-fifth meeting of the Committee was held on July 20, 2011 in the run up to the First Quarter Review of the Monetary Policy 2011-12 on July 26, 2011. The Reserve Bank of India has announced the auction of 364-day Government of India Treasury Bills for notified amount of ` 3,000 crore. The auction will be conducted on August 24, 2011 using "Multiple Price Auction" method. The allocation to the non-competitive bidders will be outside the notified amount at the discretion of the Bank. The sale will be subject to the terms and conditions specified in the General Notification No. F.2 (12)-W & M/97 dated 31st March, 1998 issued by Government of India and as amended from time to time.
