India will grow over 9 percent next year: President

NEW DELHI - President Pratibha Patil Tuesday said the Indian economy is expected to grow more than 9 percent in 2011-12.
“We are expecting a growth of more than 9 percent next year,” the president said in her message to the nation on the eve of Republic Day.
She said the economy’s performance has been laudatory despite the global financial crisis. “We are fast recovering to our growth levels before the crisis,” she said.
