Deere, Walgreen, ArvinMeritor are big movers
NEW YORK — Stocks that moved substantially or traded heavily Wednesday on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Stock Market:

Deere & Co., up $2.70 at $56.48
The maker of iconic green and yellow machinery boosted its outlook for 2010 after reporting a 19 percent jump in first-quarter profit.
Owens Corning Inc., down $1.94 at $24.45
The building materials company cited weakness in the global economy and the U.S. housing market as it reported a loss on lower sales.
Walgreen Co., up 11 cents at $34.19
Walgreen, the nation’s biggest drugstore operator, agreed to buy Duane Reade Holdings Inc. for about $623 million.
OfficeMax Inc., up 35 cents at $15.08
The office supplies company posted a smaller fourth-quarter loss and said its sales decline has moderated as its customers shop more.
ArvinMeritor Inc., up 56 cents at $10.36
The auto parts supplier said again that second-quarter revenues will be flat compared with the first quarter.
Toyota Motor Corp., down $1.86 at $74.15
Toyota said it’s looking into complaints of power steering problems with its popular compact car and is considering a recall.
Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Inc., up 44 cents at $5.76
The company reported a fourth-quarter profit, reversing a year-ago loss, as revenue got a lift from deferred royalties from Kmart.

Whole Foods Market Inc., up $3.83 at $34.35
Strong sales sent the company’s first-quarter profit up nearly 79 percent, and it raised its outlook for the year.
