Vibgyor Vehicles plans to expand overseas

AGARTALA - Kolkata-based motorbike company Vibgyor Vehicles, after capturing the major Indian markets, is embarked on dominating markets of India’s neighbours, company officials Saturday said.
Vibgyor Vehicles, which has former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly as its brand ambassador, has already started leading the two-wheeler markets in Bangladesh and Nepal, they said.
“Vibgyor Vehicles’ two motorcycle brands are currently in the market and two more new brands would hit the market by October this year,” company general manager Subhendra Bhattacharjee told reporters here.
He said their motorbikes, equipped with mobile phone indicator, digital clock, gear indicator, battery operated headlights, are designed keeping in mind Indian and neighbouring countries’ roads and weather conditions.
“Our most economical motorbikes are technically designed for women, aged person and also those people who are earning Rs.7,000 to Rs.25,000 per month,” Bhattacharjee said.
Vibgyor Vehicles targets to manufacture 350,000 bikes per year from 2012 after setting up manufacturing units in different parts of India.
Vibgyor Vehicles is a sister organisation of the Vibgyor group of companies involved in computers’ manufacturing, software, hi-tech real estate, food parlours and restaurants, an import and export management institute, cement and PVC pipe manufacturing.
