Barjeel Geojit to open new branches in UAE

KOCHI - Barjeel Geojit, a joint venture between Sharjah-based Sheikh Sultan Bin Al Sooud Al Qassemi and Geojit BNP Paribas Financial, is all set to open three new branches in the UAE.
“As part of our long term strategy to expand the reach among Non-Resident Indians in UAE, Barjeel Geojit has recently obtained licenses from the regulators to open branches in Al Ain, Mussaffa and the Dubai Marina area,” Barjeel Geojit CEO Krishnan Ramachandran told reporters.
Barjeel Geojit currently operates in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Muscat.
Barjeel’s range of financial product offerings include shares, bonds, mutual funds, commodities, and currencies from the major markets in the world and in particular, the Indian equity markets and mutual funds. Barjeel is also a broker/clearing member of the Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange.
