NEW YORK — The following stocks were among those that moved substantially or traded heavily Thursday on the New York Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq Stock Market:

AT&T Inc., down 29 cents at $28.03
AT&T will no longer sponsor Tiger Woods, joining others in dropping support for the world’s top golfer, whose image has taken a beating since a Thanksgiving holiday car accident was followed by an admission of extramarital “transgressions.”
Marvel Entertainment Inc., up 3 cents at $54.08
Shareholders approved the company’s $4.3 billion acquisition by The Walt Disney Co., as expected.
Delta Air Lines Inc., up 1 cent at $11.38
Delta has received government permission to operate its namesake service and its Northwest Airlines subsidiary as a single carrier.
Wells Fargo & Co., up 17 cents at $26.99
Its CEO and three other high-ranking executives won’t get cash bonuses for 2009, but will receive performance-based stock awards.
PPG Industries Inc., down 72 cents at $58.54
Workers in three states sued PPG for unpaid overtime while stocking and servicing Lowe’s home improvement stores.
Nike Inc., down 7 cents at $66.07
Nike co-founder and Chairman Phil Knight placed about $1.32 billion worth of his shares in the company in three trusts.
Pilgrim’s Pride Corp., down 1 cent at $8.90
Federal investigators will not prosecute Pilgrim’s Pride for employing illegal immigrants and have dropped the investigation.
NASDAQ:
YRC Worldwide Inc., 15 cents at 84 cents
YRC completed a debt-for-equity exchange with bondholders in an effort to avoid filing for bankruptcy protection.
