Fortune Park seeks hotel space in Gujarat towns

GANDHINAGAR - Fortune Park Hotels, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ITC, is seeking to expand to smaller towns in Gujarat and looking at properties in Vadodara, Rajkot and Gandhidham in Kutch.

Pawan Verma, senior executive vice-president of ITC hotels division, Wednesday said

the company was scouting for greenfield and brownfield properties in Vadodara, Rajkot and Gandhidham in Kutch.

“We are also open to tie-ups with heritage property owners in the state,” he added.

The company runs Fortune Landmark in Ahmedabad and Fortune Park in Vapi in south Gujarat. This week the group acquired its third property in the state with the launch of Fortune Inn Haveli in Gandhinagar.

The company is also planning to invest between Rs.80-100 crore in a hotel in the

Gujarat International Finance Tec (GIFT) city being set up by the state government near Gandhinagar.
