BHOPAL - Government departments in Madhya Pradesh will get funds every quarter this fiscal, instead of the current annual allocations, officials said Thursday.

“Departments will be allocated funds for every three months. They have been asked to chalk out a monthly action plan for fixing and achieving the targets”, a senior official told IANS.

“Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has instructed all the departments to fix financial and physical targets by April 15 and make efforts to achieve these targets,” the official said.

Chouhan has also asked ministers to review achievements of their respective departments in the first week of every month.

“I will also review target achievements of all the departments every two months,” Chouhan told a meeting of the ministers and officials Wednesday.
