Bhopal too wants a Metro rail

BHOPAL - The Madhya Pradesh capital is the latest city to seek a Metro rail service. And the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is to present a feasibility report on the project within six months.

A memorandum of understanding to facilitate the service has been signed by DMRC director Mangulal and state Principal Secretary (Urban Administration and Development) Raghav Chandra in New Delhi, an official statement said here Tuesday.

After a survey, the DMRC will present the feasibility report within six months to the state government on the basis of suitable routes, standards and specifications.
