Gujarat’s 2010-11 annual plan fixed at Rs.30,000 crore

GANDHINAGAR - The Planning Commission has finalized the annual plan of Gujarat for the year 2010-11 at Rs.30,000 crore, a increase of Rs.6,500 crore over the previous year.

The announcement came after a meeting between a delegation led by Chief Minister Narendra Modi and Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia in Delhi Thursday afternoon.

The Planning Commission also approved the Revised Investment Clearance of Rs.39,240 crore for Narmada Sardar Sarovar Project.

The SSP will now get financial assistance from Accelerated Irrigation Benefit Programme (AIBP) of the central government.
