Sreedharan inspects Delhi-Gurgaon Metro line

NEW DELHI - Delhi Metro chief E. Sreedharan Wednesday inspected the newly-opened 14.47 km section of the Delhi-Gurgaon Metro line.

After the three-hour inspection, Sreedharan asked the Metro officials to immediately increase the parking space at the Qutub Minar station.

A Metro official said the Qutub Minar-Gurgaon line will be extended by August to Central Secretariat and Jahangirpuri in north Delhi.

The 10 stations on this elevated section are HUDA City Centre, IFFCO Chowk, MG Road, Sikanderpur, Guru Dronacharya, Arjangarh, Ghitorni, Sultanpur, Chhattarpur and Qutub Minar.

Sreedharan also reviewed the progress of Chhattarpur station, where special steel structures and technology are being used to complete it by August.
