World Diamond Congress begins in Moscow

MOSCOW - The 34th World Diamond Congress, one of the main events of the International Diamond Society, began here Sunday.

This is the first time Russia is hosting the forum since its inception in 1947. The three-day forum aims at settling world diamond business issues and determine guidelines for the coming years, Xinhua reported.

The event is being held by the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) and the International Diamond Manufacturers Association (IDMA).
