SAN FRANCISCO (GaeaTimes.com)- Although there are many who have voiced their concern over the Hewlett-Packard’s former chief executive officer Mark Hurd’s resignation that came as a blot from blue on Friday afternoon, the latest to provide a piece of his mind on the issue is none other than chief executive of Oracle, Lawrence J. Ellison. The Oracle chief executive who is also a friend of Mark Hurd denounced the Hewlett-Packard’s director for allegedly forcing Mark Hurd to resign from his position.

As per reports, Lawrence J. Ellison had given a vent to his disappointment on an e-mail sent to a reputed media source where he had called the decision of Hewlett-Packard board as a grave mistake. According to Lawrence J. Wilson, the Hewlett-Packard board has made the worst possible decision by deciding to throw Mark Hurd out of the company. The Oracle Chief Executive maintained that it is worst decision since the Apple board kicked out Steve Jobs many years ago. According to him, Apple was on the verge of getting destroyed by the decision and “would have if Steve hadn’t come back and saved them”.

Lawrence J. Ellison maintained in his letter that by losing Mark Hurd, the Hewlett-Packard board has failed to act in the best interest of all those people who are involved with the company. He maintained that the decision will have an adverse effect on the company’s employees, partners, customers and shareholders. In his statement Lawrence J. Ellison maintained that the H.P board has admitted that in its investigation of the sexual harassment claims against Mark Hurd, the company had not found anything against him.
