Freddie Mac to issue new 5-year note due 2015
MCLEAN, Va. — Government sponsored mortgage buyer Freddie Mac said Wednesday it plans to issue new five-year notes due on Sept. 10, 2015.
The issue will be priced on Thursday, and will settle on Friday.
The new security will be offered via a syndicate of dealers headed by Barclays Capital Inc., JPMorgan Chase, and Citigroup Global Markets.
Freddie Mac shares, which trade on the Over-the-Counter bulletin board, were up a fraction to 33 cents in afternoon trading. The stock has changed hands between 24 cents and $2.15 in the past 52 weeks.
