BHIWANI - A Haryana government aircraft carrying Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda was Sunday forced to stop short of its original halt after landing as people and vehicles had spilled onto the tarmac, an official said.

These people had come to welcome Hooda, who was accompanied by Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh.

Local officials, however, denied that there was any emergency landing or stoppage due to a technical snag.

“There was no technical problem or emergency landing of chief minister’s aircraft. I do not have any such information,” district police chief Ashwin told IANS.
