Alberto Culver Taken Over by Unilever

NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com) — US skin and hair care company Alberto Culver will be owned by Consumer goods group Unilever.
The maker of Dove soap, Pond’s cream and Vaseline, Unilever has brought Alberto Culver for $3.7 billion. According to Unilever group this new business venture taken will enhance their business as of now TRESemm, Nexxus, VO5, St Ives and Simple and an array of other brands from Alberto Culver company will be included in the Unilever.
Alberto Culver is based outside Chicago and this deal with them will definitely put Unilever in one the leading position in hair and skin care business.
