Rao takes charge of Paradip Port

BHUBANESWAR - G.J. Rao, former chairman of the Tuticorin Port Trust in Tamil Nadu, has taken charge as chairman of Orissas Paradip Port Trust.

Rao, 58, assumed charge Friday, the port said Saturday.

Rao joined Paradip Port Trust in 1981 and became deputy chairman of the new Mangalore Port Trust, deputy chairman of the Chennai Port Trust and then chairman of the Tuticorin Port Trust.
