BOKARO - Bokaro Steel Plant (BSP) Monday announced posting profit of Rs.2,085 crore in the 2009-2010 financial year.

BOKARO - Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren Tuesday said his government would soon come out with a favourable Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R&R) policy which would enable industrialists get land for projects while the land owners get their dues.

BOKARO - Union Steel Minister Virbhadra Singh Thursday said the Bokaro Steel Plant would become the largest steel producer of the country by 2011-12 after the completion of its expansion and modernisation programmes.

BOKARO - Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren Saturday said the entire Chiriya mines in the state's West Singhbhum district would soon be leased to the Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) for its "expansion and modernisation projects".
