JAIPUR - US-based IT service provider Mindlance is planning to set up a development centre here as part of its India strategy focusing on smaller cities.

“Jaipur is fast emerging as a key IT services destination due to its best-in-class infrastructure, an extremely supportive government and availability of talent. It complements our plan to expand our operations in tier-2 cities in India and will deliver competitive advantage to Mindlance,” Kamal Sharma, business unit head at Mindlance, told IANS.

The centre with 100-150 employees on board will start functioning in three months to one year time depending on the fulfilment of various requirements, he said.

Mindlance set up shop in India 2003, catering to global and Indian customers.

In India, it is serving customers from IT, ITES, manufacturing and education verticals.
