BP Optimistic over Static Kill

WASINGTON (GaeaTimes.com) - This morning BP’s ‘Static Kill’ procedure reached a milestone when BP Oil Company pumped mud into the leaking oil well. The oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico is one of the greatest disaster in United States. BP commenced to plug the well with mud and they are quite optimistic about its efforts.

The oil spill disaster happened in the month of April rupturing well and raising the questions of environmental degradation by the critics. Scientists stated that the oil spill is toxic to the marine creatures. According to BP, the aim of the ‘Static Kill’ procedure is to assist with the strategy to kill and isolate the well and also to complement the upcoming relief well operation.

The ‘Static Kill’ operation had been successful so far. The officials are confident that in the coming three months BP would be successful in stopping the biggest oil leak in the US history.
