Amusement parks group spent $190K lobbying in 2Q
NEW YORK — The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions spent $190,000 in the second quarter to lobby the federal government on amusement park ride safety and other issues, according to a disclosure report.
That’s even with what the company spent in the year-ago period and in the first quarter.
The group also lobbied Congress on legislation involving health care, according to the report filed July 20 with the House clerk’s office.
