NEW DELHI - A thick blanket of flog that reduced visibility in the Indian capital Saturday seriously disrupted flights and trains, leaving thousands stranded, officials said.

About a dozen domestic and four international flights were delayed, officials at the Indira Gandhi International Airport said.

One official said the airport was expected to return to normalcy towards midday.

Trains hit hard included Poorvi Express, Neelanchal Express, Paschim Express, Shramjeevi Express and Mahabodh Express, railway officials said.
