Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT
CHICAGO — Agriculture futures were mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for July delivery jumped 9.75 cents to $5.025 a bushel, while July corn inched up 0.25 cent to $3.74 a bushel and oats for July delivery fell 2 cents to $2.20 a bushel. July soybeans added 2 cents to $9.95 a bushel.
Meanwhile, beef futures traded mixed and pork futures advanced on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
June live cattle rose 0.35 cent to 94.65 cents a pound; May feeder cattle slipped 0.13 cent to $1.1267 a pound; June lean hogs gained 0.08 cent to 86.15 cents a pound; and May pork bellies climbed 2 cents to 97.55 cents a pound.
