Textron gets $10M contract for armored vehicles
NEW ORLEANS — Textron Inc. said Tuesday it received a $10 million contract to build 27 armored vehicles for the U.S. Army.
The Armored Knight vehicles will be delivered to the U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command by the end of 2010, Textron said. The work will be done by the Textron Marine & Land Systems business.
In morning trading, Textron shares lost a penny to $19.26.
