Wheat, corn, soybeans advance on the Chicago Board of Trade, oats fall; beef, pork trade mixed

Agriculture, livestock futures trade mixed
CHICAGO — Agriculture futures were mixed Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery rose 2.75 cents to $4.865 a bushel, while May corn lost 3.75 cents to $3.7075 a bushel and oats for May delivery dropped 6 cents to $2.185 a bushel. May soybeans climbed 6.75 cents to $9.685 a bushel.
Meanwhile, beef futures slid and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
June live cattle edged down 1.05 cents to 94.07 cents a pound; May feeder cattle shed 1.07 cents to $1.093 a pound; June lean hogs added 0.28 cent to 82.85 cents a pound; and May pork bellies fell 0.32 cent to 93.15 cents a pound.
