MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com) — The Deputy General Manager (DMG) of Vodafone, Indumathi Subramanian was found dead in a swimming pool of the ITC Grand Maratha hotel here yesterday.

Indumathi Subramanian was working as DMG of Chennai division. She had come to Mumbai along with a 10-member group to attend an international company training.

What seems very surprising is the pool, where the body of Indumathi was found floating, was closed due to heavy monsoon in Mumbai, according to the staff of the five star hotel.

The dead body of Indumathi was discovered by a foreign customer of the hotel. He screamed at the seen and then made the matter under notice of the hotel authorities.

The cause of the mysterious death is still unknown. Police officials are probing the matter. An accidental death case has been registered by the police. Although police have ruled out any possibility of foul play behind the death, investigation is carried out, considering all aspects.
