Grains futures fall on Chicago Board of Trade; Beef and pork prices mostly trade lower

Grains futures, livestock prices drop
CHICAGO — Grain futures fell Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery slipped 3.25 cents to $7.235 a bushel; December corn dropped 3.25 cents to $4.92 a bushel; December oats fell 1.25 cents to $3.3875 a bushel; while soybeans for November delivery shed 1.5 cents to $10.41 a bushel.
Beef and pork futures traded flat or lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle dropped 0.97 cent to 97.15 cents a pound; October feeder cattle slid 0.28 cent to $1.1122 a pound; October lean hogs fell 1.3 cents to 77.95 cents a pound; while February pork bellies were flat at $1.0602 a pound.
