Wheat, corn, soybeans futures rise on Chicago Board of Trade; Beef, pork prices mostly fall

Grains futures rise, livestock prices mostly rise
CHICAGO — Grain futures mostly rose Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery added 7.5 cents to $7.255 a bushel; December corn gained 5.75 cents to $5.11 a bushel; December oats were flat at $3.515 a bushel; while soybeans for November delivery rose 12 cents to $10.92 a bushel.
Beef and pork futures traded flat or lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle slid 0.68 cent to 96.82 cents a pound; October feeder cattle fell 1.20 cents to $1.0945 a pound; October lean hogs dipped 0.50 cent to 78.80 cents a pound; while February pork bellies were flat at $1.0850 a pound.
