GlowTouch Technologies honored with Karnataka IT Export Award for year 2008-09

MANGALORE - GlowTouch Technologies, an IT Services Company headquartered in Louisville, KY was recently conferred with the Karnataka IT Export Award under the category of “Leading Exporter - Mangalore / Manipal Region”.
This is the second consecutive year that GlowTouch Technologies has been selected for this Category of Award.
The Award ceremony was held during the Bangalore IT.Biz 2009. The award was presented to Dr. V. Ravichandran (Chief Executive Officer) and Indira Ravichandran by Dr. Omkar Rai - Senior Director, STPI, New Delhi and Mr. Ashok Kumar Manoli, Principal Secretary for Govt. of Karnataka - Dept. of IT, BT, Science and Technology.
Founded in 2004, GlowTouch has grown 1,350.2 percent over the last three years by providing IT outsourcing services to businesses across the Globe. GlowTouch’s growth has recently allowed the company to open a third office in Nashville-TN, United States and to complete the construction of a state-of-art, 60,000 square foot development center in Mangalore (Karnataka), India
In the recent months, GlowTouch has been the recipient of several other Awards in India and the United States, such as:
– FKCCI Export Excellence Award - 2009 under the category Best Services Exporter Award - Silver.
– Fast 50 Award - GlowTouch has been ranked #1 and fastest-growing privately owned company in Greater Louisville by Business First of Louisville’s annual “Fast 50″ list. This is the first year GlowTouch has been included on this list. Business First’s Fast 50 Awards honor the 50 fastest-growing independent and privately held companies in the Greater Louisville area.
– Inc. Magazine (United States) lists GlowTouch as the 2nd fastest growing Company and 130th fastest in the nation. The magazine also awarded GlowTouch as “Top 10 Indian-Run Companies” and “Top 10 IT Services.”
– The High Impact Program, a public / private partnership between Louisville Metro Government and Greater Louisville Inc.’s (GLI) ENTERPRISECORP, introduced GlowTouch Technologies as one of the newest companies selected to the High Impact Portfolio. (ANI)
