Euro finance ministers to meet over Greek aid
BRUSSELS — Finance ministers of the 16 euro nations are to meet in a video conference to discuss the technical details of a financial aid package for Greece.
The European Commission says Sunday’s meeting of the 16 euro zone ministers is to start at 1200GMT.
A European official, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the situation, said also a definite rate for loans at below-market interest will only be agreed after Greece makes a formal request for help. It has not yet done that.
