Goodrich to do maintenance work on Icelandair’s Boeing 757 jets under new contract

Goodrich gets Icelandair jet maintenance contract
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Aerospace supplier Goodrich Corp. said Wednesday that it has signed an agreement to do maintenance work on the engines of Icelandair’s fleet of Boeing 757 aircraft.
The contract is for work on the nacelle systems of Icelandair’s 19 Boeing 757s. Nacelles house control electronics, gearbox and other airplane equipment.
Terms of the contract were not released. Goodrich will perform the work at its service center in Scotland.
Goodrich shares fell $2.08, or 2.8 percent, to $71.35 in midday trading.
