Boeing gets $136.6M modification to contract
SEATTLE — Boeing Co. is receiving a $136.6 million modification to an existing contract with the Navy, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
The contract is for procurement of long-lead materials in support of production of an aircraft. The work will be done in Seattle; Greenlawn, N.Y.; Baltimore; North Amityville, N.Y., and McKinney, Texas.
Boeing’s work, for the Naval Air Systems Command in Patuxent River, Md., is expected to be completed in December 2013.
