NEW DELHI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)-Coal India which happens to be run by the State Government has gone ahead to have fall under the scan check of Competition Commission Of India (CCI) which shall be keeping an eye owing to the tie up for mining explosives supply coming form an unknown company which never offered its bids for the deal. The complaint report that was filed by EMAI ( Explosives Manufacturers Association of India) said that CIL (Coal India) had gone ahead to have procured a total of 20-22% out of its whole requirement from an explosive manufacturer who were never offered any bids to fulfill. Reportedly, this very move of CIL happens to be against Competition Commission of India laws which have made it the centre for all allegations.

In the wake of the allegations levied against CIL by Competition Commission of India, a CIL official told the media that the report that was filed by EMAI depicted that CIL has actually gone ahead to have violated the laws of bidding which readily puts all other suppliers of the mining explosives out of the competition. As an obvious consequence CIL shall now have to face the ordeal from Competition Commission of India.

The senior heads at CIL snubbed down all allegations to be checked by Competition Commission Of India. It was told that CIL tied up with the company only to make sure that the sensitive components of the mining explosives are guaranteed full supply security. The official also said that he hopes that Competition Commission of India shall offer them a fair chance to explain their stand which shall clear all confusion and shall put an end to all allegations or charges levied against them by the EMAI. Reportedly, Gulf Oil Indian Explosives and Indian Oil are the prominent mining explosives suppliers of CIL.
