DELHI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- On Wednesday India based leading car maker Tata motors unveiled the Tata Winger Platinum in its attempt to take on rivals like Toyota and Mahindra and Mahindra. The new model can easily accommodate 7 people and it is targeted mainly at the mid size families who want a car that offers the best value for money and offer plenty of space for luggage as well. The vehicle is not very big yet offers maximum space inside which is going to be liked by the passengers. The company has said that the model has been made to adhere to the latest BS IV emission norms. Its price will hover around INR 740000. The features of the car include wide luggage space, individual AC vents, soft wide adjustable armrests and adjustable headrests. The power steering makes managing chaotic city traffic easier for the driver.
The Tata Winger Platinum is powered by a beefy 2-litre turbo charged inter-cooled engine running on diesel. As of now, the car is available in two hues- Cycus Grey and Pearl White. Tata is offering a 18 month warranty on the model. There is no reason to think that the car compromises on entertainment features. A 2 DIN music system with LCD and 4 in-built speakers will take care of the audiophiles who love listening to music everywhere they go. There are two mobile chargers in the car.
The Tata Winger Platinum comes preloaded with safety features like most of the multi utility vehicles of recent times. The anti-roll bars, rugged engine sub-frame, retractable seat belts along with child safety lock are meant for enhancing the safety of the passengers.
