Ensemble signs development deal with Pfizer

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Privately-held Ensemble Discovery said Wednesday it signed a drug development deal with Pfizer Inc. worth an undisclosed amount.

Ensemble will use its drug discovery technology to help develop and advance drug candidates in the deal with Pfizer. Under the agreement, the New York-based drug giant will provide upfront and research payments to Ensemble and will have the right to develop and sell any products developed under the collaboration. Also, Ensemble will receive development milestone payments and royalties based on worldwide sales.

Ensemble also has a development deal with Bristol-Myers Squibb.
