Voxware narrows fiscal 2nd-qtr loss as costs dip
HAMILTON, N.J. — Voxware Inc., which makes voice-driven software for use in warehouse operations, said Friday that its fiscal second-quarter loss narrowed as costs fell.
For the quarter ended Dec. 31, Voxware reported a loss of $528,000, or 7 cents per share, compared with a loss of $1.7 million, or 26 cents per share, in the same quarter a year earlier.
Revenue fell 2 percent to about $3.4 million. Revenue from products fell 15 percent to $1.7 million, while revenue from services rose 7 percent to $1.6 million.
Operating expenses fell 26 percent to $2.6 million.
